"Wawaweewaa... High Fiive!"

Though Sasha Baron Cohen's gotten himself into some deep beef with the Kazak government, because of the character 'Borat' whom he made up, I still believe his talent was most apparent when portraying this guy, muy talentoso.

Joe Paterno on the cover page of Sports Illustrated

Joe Pa

This guy. This guuuuy! He finally did it. I remember Khalid and I seeing him at the Red Lobster a few years ago. Boy was he criticized by the masses then, when for four years or more the Lions gave us ... well nothing. You gotta give him credit for his patience and persistence. Big ups to Joe Pa, the Lions, and everyone who participated in the team, even the ones who were playing when we were there. Win sum'more!

SonyEricsson P970i (via Mishal)

As pointed by Mobile-review some weeks ago, Sony Ericsson may be working on a reduced-size version of the P990 without the Qwerty keypad but same touchscreen, UIQ 3.0 interface and rest of features, and what you see above is a computer generated image of a possible design (perhaps based on the real deal?). UCSE forum member Raymondtly claims it won’t have 3G and Wi-Fi, and the word Walkman appears several times in the unreadable article he found the photo in, all of it making sense for a less business, more youth oriented smartphone. I dare to say it might sport a better camera, since a graphic chipset capable of dealing with a 3 megapixel camera is alredy present in the W900.

Geoygie (a post by Khalid)

George Costanza, a fictional character with more reality than anyone of us, a lost confused personality, lost within the boundaries of his society. To many, he might be a psycho and a looser. But to others, he’s an ideal, a role model. One might wonder, how it would feel like to be George Costanza. Trapped into your own mind, filled with sick thoughts and views. His ingenious way of careless living has touched our lives in a unique way, a way of living that no ordinary person can successfully achieve.

Geländewagen lives a little longer

Stuttgart/Graz, Nov 11, 2005
DaimlerChrysler will continue to produce its "classic off-roader" in the coming years. On behalf of Mercedes-Benz, the company Magna Steyr has manufactured over 185,000 units of the legendary G-Class in Graz, Austria, since 1979. The car continues to be very popular among customers, and it has been part of the Mercedes product lineup for the past 26 years.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class 4MATIC, which Magna Steyr in Graz has also been building since 1996, will be manufactured instead at the DaimlerChrysler plant in Sindelfingen from early 2007. "By continuing to produce the G-Class in Graz and manufacturing all E-Class variants at our main plant in Sindelfingen from 2007, we have found a viable solution for both partner," explains Dr. Dieter Zetsche, DaimlerChrysler Board of Management member and head of the Mercedes Car Group. "We are delighted that we can continue our successful and long-standing cooperation with Magna Steyr."

With its rugged technology and outstanding off-road capabilities, the G-Class has set standards from the very start. And it is equipped with the industry's most effective drive and driving safety systems, combining permanent all-wheel drive with the 4ETS electronic traction system and three differential locks that are activated when needed.

The vehicle's striking shape, which has remained nearly unchanged over a period of almost three decades, has made the "G" a design classic with cult status. Together with its legendary ruggedness, the off-roader's design has contributed most to its popularity. "Mercedes-Benz wrote automotive history by always ensuring that the G-Class remained state of-the-art over the past 26 years, and it will continue to offer its customers the very latest technology in the future," says Zetsche.

Iteration 72309176743: we lost it
Originally uploaded by fsl.

For a while now, some of my friends and I would get together and marathon through whatever episodes of 'Lost' we had on hand. We are currently waiting for episode 7 of season 2 to air in the US so we can download it through iTunes. We are hooked! You wouldn't understand unless you gave the 1st season a shot, and prolly got into a bit of the second. The thing's bangin' yo. We all officially lost it. more details will be published as necessary.

BHR:TRI 0:1

Bahrain lost yesterday. Trinidad scored in the first half. Bahrain wasn't playing as good as it should've. One Bahraini player managed to steal the ball from the goalie at the end of the game, he passed it over the goalie and went and put it in the net. The ref blew his whistle though and called it off and red carded a Bahraini player. Was it a good call? I really don't know. At first, it looked like a good call, but while watching the replays, we weren't really sure. All in all, Bahrain did their best and reached a new high by being a game away from reaching the World Cup. Hopefully next time they'd qualify. Good luck Bahrain, and congrats Trinidad and Tobago.
