This service won't go anywhere, mark my words. I give it 6 months into service if they provide it to all subscribers on time. 6 months and problems will start occuring.
Technically the data will be transmitted on a different frequency than electricity, but there will be delays, interruptions, and maybe power outages in the area.
Fiber baby, fiber all the way. The combination of fiber of and Giga Ethernet will boom big time, it will blow all these stupid solutions out.

sorry for the technical stuff guys, that from a communication engineering point of view.

WiMax is the solution, basically it's wireless broadband. No need for all that crap through power lines.
