سوف تقوم الجمعية السعودية الخيرية لرعاية مرضى السرطان بالمنطقة الشرقية، بحملة أخرى جديدة تحت مسمى "صحة الثدي"، وذلك بجامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن بمركز المجتمع يوم الأربعاء26/11/1426هـ الموافق 28/12/2005م من الساعة السابعة مساءً وحتى العاشرة والنصف صباحاً. تلقيها نخبة من الطيبيبات المتخصصات هن عضوات بالجمعية حيث سوف تقلي الدكتورة نوال بوحليقة تحت عنوان "أهمية الرضاعة" وتلقي الدكتورة مها عبدالهادي محاضرة بعنوان "تجميل الثدي"، والدكتورة شيخة الغملاس عن "نمط الحياة الصحية"، والدكتورة فاتن العقيل "أورام الثدي" كما تلقي الأستاذة منتهى السعيد تحت عنوان "الصحة النفسية". كمــا سيتخلل الحملة ورشة عمل بتعليم الحاضرات كيفية الفحص الذاتي للثدي، تقوم به طبيبات متخصصات برائاسة الدكتورة مها سيد عبدالهادي، رئيسة لجنة الدعم المعنوي والتدريب. وقد صرح الدكتور طلعت بن عبدالعزيز بدر، عضو مجلس إدارة الجمعية وأستاذ بكلية الهندسة بجامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن، بأن التثقيف الصحي الذي هو من أهداف الجمعية لابد أن يصل إلى جميع أفراد المجتمع سواءاً رجالاً و نساءاً من خلال هذه الحملات التي نقوم بتوزيع مطبوعات الجمعية بالإضافة إلى النشاطات داخل الحملة.
