Women Driving

At the Roundtable (WTS online’s discussion board) there is a debate on Women driving in Saudi. I know sooo much ink has been spilled discussing this issue, and I’m really sick of it all (the discussion that is) but one thing I want to say that I’ve just posted there, you know what, here’s my post:

 

what is it with us, we talk as if we're up to our heads with issues. Every time an issue comes up that we don't or cannot resolve we say "there are more important issues". Maybe that's true, but it's not like we're busy addressing these "other" issues. Plus, i think with around 25 million "heads" in Saudi i'm pretty sure we can find enough "thinking heads" to tackle ALL our issues at the same time!
