In this book, Jon Stewart, host of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, takes on the subject of American democracy with the same style of comedy we see on his show; something you can call not-so-fictional comedy. Stewart takes us back in time to the days of America’s “Founding Fathers”—he actually jumps briefly to an earlier time but that’s not important here—and starts to explain American democracy using historical and recent events (his version of them, of course), mixing them with analysis and opinion and delivering it all to the reader in a style that illuminates the points and makes them more accessible to everyone.
